Craft club

Our fairytale

Welcome to Loughrea craft club ,where we run fun craft classes and workshops for kids and adults. We aim to create a fun learning environment where participants can learn new skills and explore the possibilities of their creativity.
We encourage kids to learn traditional craft skills such as sewing, felting and knitting and also introduce them to the fun and exciting new range of craft materials out there.
Projects to date include felt flower jewellery, weaving a wallhanging, enamel jewellery, design your own t-shirt and cap, cushion covers, mixed media sculpture, key chain characters, wooden vehicles, easter decorations, card making and grass heads.
Rachel Allkin, textile artist and fairy maker from Away with the fairies and Louise Bryant , experienced seamsstress and textile artist run the classes. Please contact us if your school would be interested in after school craft classes or we can bring one of our workshops to an upcoming event.
