We are Away with the fairies!

Hi, we are Rachel and Adrian Allkin, a husband and wife team who share a passion for creativity and who have been “Making believe” since 2001. I made my first fairy way back in the early 90’s for my mum Dot, and never thought back then that I would get to make a full time living and share my love for all things fairy for so many years.

Galway market and beyond

We started trading on Galway market in the early days of our business selling fairies and handmade jewellery. In 2003 we took a huge financial leap (for us!) and took a teeny stand at the National Craft and Design fair in Dublin and after we sold all our fairies in the first 2 days, we realised we might be on to something!
From there our business really grew wings as we traded at various markets and events around Ireland as well as supplying craft and gift shops. As technology allowed, my husband Adrain built our website and we began selling fairies all over the world, with customers as far flung as Japan and Mexico our little Irish fairy story really hand taken off!
Soon we added fairy doors and later fairy garden supplies to our range bringing the fairies outdoors and encouraging kids to interact more with the natural world.

Fairy trails

In recent years we began supplying and installing fairy trails and gardens for lots of businesses, schools, hospitals and private clients. We really enjoy working on different projects and love getting out and about in nature. We can designed, supplied and installed fairy gardens and trails all over Ireland with everything from Solar fairy housing and doors to wishing wells. It’s possible to create a magical fairy environment practically anywhere!
